Q: Do Juniors need to know only the junior list of animals for foods or do they need to know all the animals that eat those foods?

A: Juniors need to know only the junior list.

Q: Do both the juniors and seniors participate in Activity I?

A: Yes.

Q: How many foods will be judged by Seniors in Activity I?

A: 10 foods will be judged by Seniors.

Q: How many foods will be judged by Juniors in Activity I?

A: 5 foods will be judged by Juniors.

Q: Will all of the food items come from the contest site?

A: No.

Q: Do both the Juniors and Seniors participate in Activity II A?

A: Yes.

Q: How many wildlife species will be ranked for the aerial photos in Activity II A?

A: 8 wildlife species.

Q: Are Juniors required to participate in Activity II B?

A: No. Only the Seniors. However, Juniors may participate for practice.

Q: How many species will be required for reasons in Activity II B?

A: 1

Q: Who participates in Activity III?

A: Both Juniors and Seniors participate

Q: How many species will be judged in Activity III?

A: 8

Q: Are Juniors required to participate in Activity IV A and IV B?

A: No. Juniors are required to participate in Activity IV A only. They can do Activity IV B for practice. Seniors are required to do both activities.

Q: Where is Activity IV conducted?

A: Activity IV will occur on the same piece of land as Activity III.

Q: How many species will be managed for in Activity IV?

A: 2 species.

Q: Which species are selected for management in Activity IV?

A: These 2 species will come from the 8 species judged in Activity III.

Q: Are Juniors required to participate in Activity V?

A: No, but they are encouraged to participate for practice. Only the Seniors are required to participate in Activity V

Q: Are rulers, clipboards, and landscaping templates allowed for Activity V?

A: Yes. These items will be inspected by the WHEP Judges.

Q: Can contestants have any other notebook paper, notes, or similar items during the contest?

A: No. Only items inspected by the WHEP Judges.

Q: Should contestants bring their own clipboards, and writing instruments?

A: Yes. They are responsible for these items.

Q: During the contest, can contestants speak to one another?

A: Contestants can converse only during the team activities. Otherwise it is not allowed.
